Glasgow: Scotland with style Clipper will be taking on the rest of the Clipper fleet in 35,000 miles of exhilarating ocean racing and we are now recruiting crew from Scotland to take part. You don’t need any sailing experience at all as we give you comprehensive training on our fleet of specially-designed 68-foot yachts. The race is divided into seven legs. You can sign up for the whole circumnavigation or a single leg.

The Scottish Series provides the perfect opportunity for anyone to find out more about the 35,000-mile race which starts from Liverpool in September this year.

It is not too late to apply to take part in the race. Those already onboard come from all walks of life – lawyers, doctors, housewives, students, bankers, farmers, postmen and vicars are among those who have already signed up for the adventure of a lifetime with Clipper 07-08.

Anyone who would like to find out more about taking part in the Clipper Race can come along to the Glasgow: Scotland with style Clipper berthed on the ferry berth in Tarbert. They can talk to some of the Scottish crew taking part in the forthcoming Clipper 07-08 Race and who are currently going through the Clipper Training programme, along with crew from past races.
